 St.
John's is committed to being a just health care system - one that is available to
everyone.

In our fiscal year ending June 30, 2008, St.
John’s provided $33 million in charity care and nearly $47 million in unreimbursed
Medicaid services.
¢
An
additional $15.5 million was provided through community outreach efforts and
$5.3 million in educational programs and research.
¢
Our
Foundation for Community Health funded $1.6 million in aid and grants for
activities that improve health and wellness, both inside and outside of our
health system.
All combined, our community benefit for the year was $106,741,835.
