St. John's is a Springfield, Missouri-based integrated health system serving the residents of southwest Missouri and Northern Arkansas since 1891. More than 10,000 co-workers, 460 physicians and 1100 volunteers work together to meet St. John's mission of improving the health and quality of the communities we serve, with  a particular concern for those who are economically poor.

St. John's is a member of the
Sisters of Mercy Health System-St. Louis, the ninth largest Catholic Health System in the United States. Since 1999, St. John's has been ranked among the nation's Top 100 Integrated Health Systems as recognized by Verispan.

As an integrated system, St. John's is comprised of
St. John's Hospital in Springfield, a 866-bed referral center; five regional hospitals in Lebanon, Aurora, Cassville, Mountain View, and Berryville, Ark.; St. John's Clinic, a 460-physician clinic with 70 locations throughout the region; and St. John's Health Plans, the largest managed care provider in the region.

St. John's provides the most current technology available in the Ozarks, including a 64-slice CT scanner, Cyberknife radiosurgery program and a PET unit. St. John's provides a full range of specialty services, including several centers of excellence.

St. John’s provides the region’s only Level I Trauma Center for adult and pediatric patients, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the region’s burn unit, and a Children’s Hospital within the Hospital. During the last five years, St. John’s has moved forward with an ambitious $340 million master plan which has included the development of the Patient Tower, surgery center and medical office building, a new emergency trauma center, new outpatient imaging, new surgical and cardiac intensive care units and a new energy center on the main campus.
