St. John's Auxiliary

The mission of St. John’s Auxiliary program is to provide volunteer support to various departments throughout St. John’s Health System.

St. John’s Auxiliary began in 1953. Auxilians have contributed hundreds of thousands of hours and dollars to St. John’s Health System.

The auxiliary is governed by its own elected board of directors, who meet monthly from January through June.

There are many opportunities to provide service throughout St. John's Health System. Approximately 650 men and women actively participate in the auxiliary program. The summer junior volunteer program is available to students who are 14 years old by June 1.
